SMART BUSINESS FESTIVAL 2016 WAS ALSO FOCUSED ON INDUSTRY 4.0.
Prague, 27. 10. 2016: Smart Business Festival held in Prague was aimed to support Czech companies in their development and using innovative novelties. In two days, within a dynamic program many lectures and almost 70 speakers from countries were presented. The participants also had the opportunity to visit the exhibition of more than 40 exhibitors. The first day of the Festival was aimed at general solution for smart business, second day was focused on the the topic of Industry 4.0 and exclusively in it, the representatives of five countries sought “five differences” in the conception of this phenomenon in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republik, Austria, Germany and US.
“This year the Smart Business Festival was international and 2 days for the first time .We presented exclusive showcase of speakers from five countries who presented their tips for smart services and processes that can immediately be used to upgrade your business. In addition, participants of the Festival found out what it is that elusive Industry 4.0 and what are its advantages, which can immediately use to develop the company. “, says the chairman of the CzechInno association, David Kratochvíl.
The festival was opened by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mládek in its first day, then the program continued with a short talkshow of the chairman of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Karel Havlicek, with senior representatives of institutions supporting entrepreneurship – Minister of Industry and Trade, Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Vaclav Pícl , CEO of CzechInvest – Karel Kucera and and the chairman of Technology Agency of the Czech Republic – Petr Ocko on “The contribution of your institution to develop smart business in the Czech Republic”.
The program followed by dynamic inputs to the single programming blocks such as resource savings, digital solutions, smart marketing, consulting and Smart Alternative logistics. In them, the participants learned eg. from the company ELKO EP, how to implement intelligent lighting in corporate offices and manufacturing plants, from Keboola how to successfully make a data analyst from every employee of the company, from Aqua Ads how to market your business organically, visibly and with minimal cost through sidewalks ads from IBM Czech and Slovak Republic how to effectively work with cloud-based systems or from the biggest players in the shared transport as BlaBlaCar, Uber and CAR4WAY how to use and for corporate business trips carsharing or carpooling.
Within the exposure part of the festival the participants could also touch the presented news and technical achievements, try them and get more information about the possibility of their use in their own company. The participatns could also gain new interesting contacts during organized B2B meetings.
Next Smart Business Festival will be held again in Prague in the second half of October 2017.
